About This Project

To renovate a historical building in the beautiful district in the North-Eastern Thailand, Varinchumrab; Ubonrachathani, and convert it into a live-work building. Ground floor is converted into a dental clinic and the upper floor to a residential area. The idea is to keep the shell as existing to blend in with the context and install the modern elements into it to separate time period between old and new. Because we believe that the architecture can tell story itself, so we better not try to manipulate it, instead, we rather install those elements  in association with each other and let the user feel it.
